Prof. Ajay Dubey

Professor Ajay Dubey is currently Chairperson of Special Centre for National Security Studies (SCNSS) and Centre for African Studies, School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University. He is also the Director of Energy Studies Programme, School of International Studies and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Study (JNIAS) at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His research interests include International Relations, African Affairs, Diaspora Studies, Indian Migration, Indo-African Relations, Development Issues and Political Science. He is Editor in Chief three international journals, Africa Review (Routledge), Insight on Africa (Sage Publication) Diaspora Studies (Routledge).

Dr. B K Pandey

Dr. B K Pandey is an officer of the Indian Economic Services. He has worked as an Adviser to Planning Commission of India, Niti Aayog, Tariff Commission, and Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. He has also been affiliated to the Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Pharmaceutical and Cabinet Secretariat and has dealt with planning, policy formation and programme implementation of various initiatives by the Government of India. He is currently working as Adjunct Professor (Economics) at National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad, Haryana. Dr. Pandey has more than 30 years of experience in research, teaching, Macro-Economic Policy, Budget, International Business, Diaspora, and International Relations.


Sanjeev Roy

Mr. Sanjeev Roy is UNESCO Fellow and Erasmus Mundus Scholar. He is an education management professional with nearly three decades of experience in a wide-ranging background within the field of education & skill development in India and Europe. Currently, he is the Senior Key Expert Higher Education for the EU Public Diplomacy Project of European Union Delegation in India. He is also the Skill development consultant to UNESCO Paris and Country Expert for ‘Study in Estonia’. Previously he has worked with UNESCO Germany, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, the World Bank, the Ministry of Education in Denmark, British Council Division, British High Commission in New Delhi & Boston Consulting Group, London, UK

Telematics Wire is leading news portal in automotive telematics Prior to this he was working in the field of GIS and Remote Sensing.


Samir Bhattacharya

Samir Bhattacharya graduated from University of Auvergne 1, France on Environment Economics. He is presently pursuing his postgraduate academic research at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi on "South-South Cooperation for improved global climate governance". For last three years, he has been associated with CUTS International, an international policy research think tank, as Regional Coordinator for Africa operations. His areas of interest include the new world order for climate governance, technology and innovation for natural resource management, gender dimensions of trade etc. and he has published extensively in these areas.


Dr. Priyadarshikha Subba

Dr. Priyadarshika Subba is a Research Assistant at the India Centre for Migration. She completed her M.Phil (2013) and PhD (2018) from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Her research interests include Diaspora Studies, Migration and Mobility, African Studies and International Relations.

Meghna Ria Muralidharan

Meghna Ria Muralidharan is a M.Phil student at the Centre for African Studies, Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Her area of interest is India’s Energy Security and Possible Co-operation with Africa, Counter Terrorism, National Security and Diaspora. She has written articles for various online sources on issues pertaining primarily to India-Africa and has made research presentations at various national and international platforms.


Ivy Handique

Ivy Handique is a PhD student from Center for African Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). She completed her Bachelors in Political Science from Miranda House, Delhi University and her Masters from International Relations, JNU. She wrote her M. Phil dissertation on Indian Diaspora in Ethiopia and her PhD research area is on the Indian Academicians to Ethiopia. She also has keen interests on various Diaspora studies and issues related to migration, women and many others.
